NSW: Public happy with my response to scandals: Iemma
New South Wales Premier MORRIS IEMMA says a series of scandals involving members of
his government hasn't harmed his chances in next month's state election.
Yesterday Aboriginal affairs minister MILTON ORKOPOULOS was charged with three fresh
offences in addition to the 30 child sex .. drugs and child pornography charges laid against
him in November.
That follows the resignation of CARL SCULLY as police minister .. after being caught
lying to parliament twice .. and backbencher STEVEN CHAYTOR's conviction for assaulting
his former partner.
Mr IEMMA has told ABC radio the public is satisfied with his treatment of each of the
disgraced MPs.
